It feels like forever since I did a Plan With Me (in reality I think it’s only been a couple of months, but it might as well have been years).
Unfortunately, July is going to be a pretty hectic month for me, so I’ve kept my planning pretty simple and have completely stolen a theme from AmandaRachLee on YouTube, but still, I missed doing these so I’m going to share it with you today regardless.
I’ve been really enjoying having my title page on the left-hand side of my notebook for the past couple of months, so I decided to stick with it again this month.
Like I said, my theme is very very simple (and it’s barely even consistent across all these spreads) so the title page gave me the perfect canvas for a little bit of creativity without having to spend an age doodling.
I went back to my first love, pastels, this month after experimenting with brighter hues in June and I’m loving it. I used a combination of purple-blue Tombows layered on top of each other to create my field of lavender and did a simple calligraphy title.
Like I said, it’s basic, but this month is going to look busy enough without a whole lot of doodling!
My monthly log has evolved a little this past month as I no longer need the clear divide between university, work and personal.
Instead, I’ve simply put a date bar down the middle, meaning I can fill out 2 work tasks, 2 personal tasks, or one of each depending on what the day requires.
I’m trying to keep my work stuff on the right and my personal stuff on the left, but that’s liable to change as the month fills up.
I don’t think the post on my Spending Freeze has gone live yet so you can await that with anticipation.
But, spoiler alert, I’m going to try and have another low spend month in July so my goals page has a lot of space for that.
At the bottom of the page, I’ve also added a few of my standard goal tracking bars for other things I want to achieve this month. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a very useful spread.
Line A Day
What can I say, this spread is exactly the same as always, a couple of lines to write about each day and give myself an overview of the month.
There’s really not a lot to it.
Again, like my Line A Day spread, this Mood Mandala is exactly the same as always, but with pastel coloured Tombows again this month. I’m really enjoying my Mood Mandalas at the moment so I don’t see this spread changing a whole lot in the future.
And that’s it! Like I said, this month is pretty basic, but I haven’t shared a lot of my bullet journal lately so I wanted to give you an update.
I’d love to hear about your July bullet journal themes, or any monthly spread ideas you think I’d like, in the comments down below. See you there!
