Spring has sprung, and that means it’s time to do another plan with me! I’ve really been riding the floral train this year (come to think of it, every month so far has incorporated some form of flower) and this month is no exception. However, it is a little simpler than previous spreads…
I tried a new type of typography this month for my headers. It’s chunkier and blockier than I usually go for, but I kind of love it (I’m considering trying to turn it into a font for my computer). Since the type is so bold, the rest of my spreads are fairly minimal, so this goes to show you how easy it is to bullet journal – even if you aren’t a doodle master.
I modeled this on a picture I saw online (could have been Pinterest, but I’m not 100% sure and have no hope of finding it again). I decided to add a few floral doodles around the outside just to make it a little bit more interesting, but like I said, this month is all about the font.
You’re probably sick of me explaining my monthly log by now, so I’m not really going to get into it. However, you’ll be happy to hear that with uni finishing this month I’ll probably change things up in May – so stay tuned!
Line a Day
I decided to expand my traditional Line A Day to a double page spread cause I just feel like I’ve never had enough space in these.
As always, this spread is pretty simple (cause it quickly becomes full of text)… sorry if this is getting repetitive!
I’m sticking with the mood mandala spread this month, the only difference is an amended sticker (which I’m going to put up in my Etsy shop the second I finishing writing this, meaning it’ll be ready and waiting for you whenever you’re done reading) and that I changed ‘stressed’ to ‘anxious’… I’m almost always stressed, so anxious is a more appropriate term for me.
And that’s it, as I mentioned at the start, this month is pretty simple – but hopefully you still found it useful. Now that uni is wrapping up I’m hoping to be able to spend some more time in my bullet journal over the next 30 days, so May should be a bit more revolutionary!
See you in the comments!
