Cruelty-Free Beauty Haul | The Body Shop

I know, I know, there have been a lot of hauls lately haven’t there? But this is what happens when the season changes, especially from summer to autumn… there’s just something about autumn that makes me want to reinvent myself, both on the outside and the inside.

So, when I was in The Body Shop recently I picked up a few new bits for the cooler weather and the drier skin, and figured I’d share it with you all. Spoiler alert, be prepared for lots of moisturising products.

Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

As you can see from the picture, I love the Vitamin C range. In fact, since I’ve started using it I’d say my skin has been even better than usual (my skin is always pretty good, but I haven’t even had a time-of-the-month/crazy-hormone breakout).

This stuff is interesting as it’s sort of a gel rather than a cream (you’d know what I mean if you saw it). Basically, it’s designed for younger skin to help brighten and moisturise without being too heavy.

(I’ve already been using this for a few days, morning and evening, and I must say I love it just as much as its brothers and sisters.)

Pink Grapefruit Body Butter

A few favourites ago I talked about the Dove Tinted Moisturiser that I’ve been obsessed with all summer. However, as I’m starting to think about Autumn, I needed something a little less bronzed and a little more moisturising… and that’s where this stuff comes in.

I went with the Pink Grapefruit mainly because it smells amazing, but also because the butter isn’t as hard as some of the other ones I tested (the Shea Butter one, for instance, is very solid).

WARNING: Be prepared for the Pink Grapefruit trend to continue throughout this haul.

Pink Grapefruit Eau De Toilette

This is my no means an autumn essential, but I’ve had my eye on this stuff for years and with Buy 1 Get 1 half price I just couldn’t pass it up!

It’s pretty self-explanatory really, it’s a simple Pink Grapefruit scented perfume.

I’ll probably keep it in the darkness of my under-sink-cupboard for now as I’m not sure how often I’ll be reaching for it in the cooler months, but I can’t wait to start using it!

Pink Grapefruit Soap

I promise this is the last Pink Grapefruit scented item… for now. This is just a basic bar of soap which I purchased because it was 3 for 2 and I was completely out of soap. I use soap to shave so it’s always nice to have one that’s moisturising and scented for that.

Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Face Mask

The last two products I got are part of their new-ish face mask range.

This Ethiopian Honey mask (which I used for the first time last night) is so moisturising, and it leaves your skin feeling ridiculously soft. It’s going to be a lifesaver in deepest, darkest winter.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

This stuff is also amazing (I used this two nights ago on my T-zone). It sets on your face and goes hard before you scrub it all off with a face cloth… after I took mine off I kept stroking my cheeks they were so smooth!

This is another winter essential for me as I wear way more makeup in the winter than I do in the summer, so it’s important to treat my skin nicely.

Face Mask Brush Applicator

Since I bought two face masks, I actually got this face mask brush for free, but even if you’re only getting one mask I’d recommend picking one of these up too. The masks go on so much quicker, smoother and more evenly when applied with this (as opposed to fingers) and it means you don’t get your bathroom covered in clay and honey.

And that’s it! I promise this is my last beauty/makeup haul for a while, I’m sure you’re as sick of them as my bank account is.

I’d love to hear about some of your autumn/winter beauty essentials in the comments down below!
