Which one do you want to hear first? The bad news? Fair enough.
The bad news? Fair enough.
I’m very sorry, but I’m going to have to take a little break from this whole blogging business. I know you’re disappointed, you can’t even imagine how sad I am to be writing this, but hopefully, the good news will help you make your peace with it.
After BEDA, and all the stress it brought with it, I’m just not sure I’ll be able to maintain good quality content if I don’t slam on the breaks for a little bit.
May seems like the perfect time to do this, not only because my April series just ended, but also because I have a load of coursework due and I’m heading off on holiday at the end of the month, so I’ll have more than enough to keep myself busy.
The good news? Okay, okay, I’m getting to that!
The good news is that I’ll be back on June 1st with some brand new, exciting content. I have a few different things in the works including more book review, a new travel series and a couple of ideas for more essay-style posts (like my feminism post from a few months back. If that’s not enough, I’m also planning out a back to uni/school series for August – so there’s a lot to look forward to!
In no way does this hiatus mean I’m sick of blogging, in fact, I’m probably still going to keep writing for the duration of this break. It’s just a way for me to take some of the pressure off myself and to ensure that the content I’m putting out is something I’m proud of, without frying my head in the process.
If June seems too far away, make sure you’re following me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as I’ll be continuing to post new content on these platforms throughout the hiatus.
I guess, for now, all that’s left to say is see you on the first of June! I’m sure the time will fly by!
