I’m very sorry for ignoring you. I had a very busy March, you see, and I just didn’t feel like I’d done anything worth updating the world on. Please don’t think I like the other months more than you, I promise, I’ll get you next year.
Anyway, let’s get into the real story, hey May!
Today, I’m back with another golds update for you all, I really hope you guys find this interesting and that it inspires you to get back on track with your own goals. Anyway, on with the update!
Well, hopefully, some of you were around this month for my BEDA series. If I’m honest, this was the hardest series I’ve done on this blog yet. I’m sad to admit that, but I’ve just had a really busy month with uni and work and… well, sleeping. However, I’m getting really excited about finishing uni, submitting all my coursework and spending some time on the blog in the near future.
I hope everyone’s as excited for my summer travel series as I am, I’ve got big plans people!
Can you believe it guys, I’m finally starting to make headway here! My wages are coming in and I’m trying to stick to a budget, but I’m not getting too excited about the whole thing as I’m fairly sure my May-travelling is going to ruin all my hard work.
For the first time, I think I’m starting to make progress here! I’ve changed my mind and decided to adopt a child through Kids For Schools (a great charity who I’m doing some mission work with this summer). However, I’m going to wait until pay day to actually push the button. I’m very excited to finally be getting it under way!
Guys, I was really terrible this past month. In fact, I almost don’t want to tell you – I’m so ashamed. I got into a whole panic before my university formal dinner and didn’t leave myself enough time to order anything online. This led to me buying a whole load of makeup without any research, and thus a lot wasn’t cruelty-free.
Please don’t hate me. I promise I have a positive note! My skin and hair care are starting to get better, there’s actually only a few more non-cruelty free products that I have to reconsider – yey!
This one is another mixed bag. I’ve been trying to stop snacking, and I’ve been relatively successful on that front. However, my exercise is a slightly longer story. In April, I started doing a daily 7-minute workout and started a Couch-2-5k scheme. However, I then got really sick and literally couldn’t get out of bed for a week, meaning I went right back to square one, and just haven’t found the motivation to get going since. Hopefully, now that the weather’s getting nicer, maybe I’ll get back in track?

I’m so behind in my Goodreads Challenge guys, I haven’t even hit a quarter of the way through my total yet – good thing summer’s coming up so I can get back on track!
Hmm, I don’t think I’ve really been focussing on this recently. Because I’ve been reading for school, I’ve just been picking up whatever I feel like in my spare time without a whole lot of thought. Again, once I have a few more brain cells available to devote, I’m hoping to get better about this one.
As I mentioned earlier, my May focus is really going to be on blogging, reading, health and, of course, finally adopting a child.
Let me know about your May goals in the comments down below, I love hearing from you guys!
