Celebrating The Little Things | Tag

I’m sure you’ve all noticed this lovely little tag floating around the blogosphere for the past few weeks, I know I’ve seen it popping up all over the place. I was tagged by the lovely Ines over at Travelling Inside Books and I can’t wait to share the love (especially after just reaching 100 followers, the timing couldn’t have been better!), thanks Ines!

Who was your very first follower (if you can find them?) Tag them and give them a shout out!

I know for a fact that my first follower isn’t very active, so I’m going to cheat and tag my second follower who has left me some lovely comments over the past few months, @anhistorianabouttown.

What was the last milestone you reached?

I still can’t believe I’m typing this, but 100 followers! Thanks gang!

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us!

My blog is still a baby in the grand scheme of things, but here’s my first post, it was a comparison between the book and the movie adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Come to think of it, I haven’t done a post like that since then, I really should go to the cinema soon!

Who was your most recent follower? Tag them and give them a shout out!

Since they were within an hour of each other, it feels wrong to differentiate! The first was @whiskywolfcub (looks like you got that shout out a little earlier than we’d expected!) and the second was @miathelunatic, both of whom left me the most lovely comments upon arrival – thanks guys!

What was the last post you posted and who was the very first person who took their time to click the like button? Give them a shout out!

Again, this was my Thank you post. Interestingly, my first like and my first comment were from two different people, but it seems only fair to acknowledge them both. The first like was by Masoom over at My Little Brittle Universe, the first comment was from my trusty, commenting buddy Ashley from Inside My Minds. Much love to both of them!

Do you have any bloggers you’re friends with? Give them a shout out.

Without getting too mushy about it, I like to consider anyone who takes the time to comment on my posts, give me a like/follow, or respond to my queries a friend. But if I had to pick just one, I’d have to say Mandy over at Book Princess Reviews, we may or may not have something very exciting coming at you all next week (shh, you didn’t hear it from me!)

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

If I’m not mistaken, my last tag was the 2016 Year In Review Book Tag. I was tagged by the lovely NeverSeenANevergreen, and it was created by Farah from A Booktube Book on the Youtubes. Such a great tag, I had much fun answering that one!

How many months have you been blogging for?

Since the end of October, my first post went live on the 29th October 2016. That’s actually quite hard to believe, does that mean I’ve been blogging for 2 whole months? What!?

Have you any social media related to your blog?

Oh yes, I have all the social media you could possibly want. However, the only one I’m going to plug here is my Goodreads as I’m going to be sorting out my other social media over the next week and launching again it soon! (P.S. Sorry if you follow me now and I’m being pathetic, I promise, it’s a work in progress!)

Last but not least …. just say thanks to all your followers.

Unfortunately, the internet cannot provide me with another 100 ways to say thank you, so I’m just going to have to keep it simple this time. Thank you all so much for being here, you truly are the best bunch of people and I’m so thankful to have finally found such a supporting and active place to write. I love each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you all in the comments!

I suppose all that’s left to be done is to get tagging….

I’m going to keep this simple for myself and say that if I mentioned you in this tag, you’re it! That means…

@anhistorianabouttown

@whiskywolfcub

@miathelunatic

@mpjethwa

@av8tor1988

@bookprincessreviews

@neverseenanevergreen

… consider yourselves tagged!
